The Albatross Partnership was formed in 1992 by cricket coaches Richard O'Sullivan and Robert Thomas in an attempt to recognise and fulfil the desperate need for simple, easy to use resource material.

Subsequently the "Quick and Easy Way to Teach Cricket" was independently published in spring 1997. To date, approximately 3000 copies are in circulation throughout Europe and the U.K.

The Albatross Partnership now also offers a selection of other publications and a consultancy service for similar projects. Various seminars such as, Fast bowling & Injury, Organising a Junior Section, and Teaching Cricket at Grass Roots Level are available.
